Ford Men’s Aiden Andrews…kills it again and again and again…

Lastly, the pants. Oh, the pants. The fit, the color (!), the spring-weight poplin. Perfect.
Everything about these mid-waist rise tailored trousers were impeccable. Quite simply, they just made me happy putting them on. Were they not a mind-blowing eight hundred dollars, I would have snapped them up. Seeing as how the color is definitely seasonal (and perhaps even a bit of a 2011-specific moment), I’ll be waiting for these guys to go on sale. Either way, Jil Sander is WINNING. Winning! I can attest to the fact that the fit is extraordinary. If I had an extra $600 I would have snapped them up for Rhett in a heartbeat.

Aiden Andrews for Jil Sander F/W 10 (Photography: Willy Vanderperre)
Ford Men’s Aiden Andrews features for the Jil Sander F/W 10 campaign photographed by Willy Vanderperre with styling by Olivier Rizzo, hair styling by Paul Hanlon, and makeup by Peter Philips. Having walked for the German designer in June the 6’2” (188 cm) Aiden maintains a certain continuity befitting of the house’s minimalist design ethos under the creative direction of Raf Simons. Long an editorial favorite Aiden has recently appeared in Dazed & Confused photographed by Richard Burbridge and T Magazine photographed by Matthew Kristall. He also appeared eight times in the recent menswear shows for Dunhill, Lanvin, Raf Simons, Kenzo, Yves Saint Laurent, Rick Owens, Burberry Prorsum, and of course Jil Sander. And if that were not enough, Aiden now even has a devoted following on Tumblr.
Special thanks to The Fashionisto for the picture and campaign credits.
Aiden Andrews for Jil Sander Menswear Spring 2011 (Photography: Giovanni Giannoni)
Ford Men’s Aiden Andrews features for the Jil Sander menswear spring 2011 collection by Raf Simons. The solid colors are irresistible amidst an otherwise drab menswear canvas. It’s almost as if the tone & contrast knobs were spun in all different directions whilst watching the original Star Trek TV series, which is to say we love the look. We’re looking forward to spring of next year and until, then enjoy the presentation…
